First Responders Called To Fatal Crash On Jersey Shore

Police, firefighters and EMS crews were called to a fatal crash in Ocean County, authorities said.

The crash occurred about 10:15 p.m. on Route 72 at Warren Grove Road in Barnegat Township, initial reports said.

It was not immediately clear whether a pedestrian had been struck or a motorist had been ejected from the vehicle, reports said.

The Ocean County Medical Examiner's Office had been notified.
